Products and Services
To accelerate the speed to market of new solutions, we employ Fourier Space’s suite of innovative products and services that enable
- massive data acquisition and low-latency, high-performance data analysis
- exploitation of the latest multiprocessor technologies
- modular construction of distributed signal processing pipelines
- high-bandwidth interprocess communication
- pipeline deployment, orchestration, control and monitoring
Using these products, our team has designed, developed, and commissioned many generations of successively more capable, bespoke, high-performance signal processing solutions for the iconic Parkes radio telescope. We designed and are currently implementing the pulsar timing signal processing solution for the Square Kilometre Array, an ambitious international project to build the world’s largest radio telescope.
See our Projects page for more information about how our solutions are in use around the world.
Open-Source Software Pioneers
In addition to our commercial products, our team has pioneered several open-source software projects and developed critical applications used by the international community of radio astronomers, including
- DiFX – software correlator used for Very Long Baseline Interferometry
- dspsr – digital signal processing software for radio pulsar astronomy
- psrchive – extensive range of pulsar data analysis tools
